Dr. Vines provides more than 25 years of medical and psychiatry practice to Arizona IOP as the Medical Director. He has worked in both hospital and addiction settings and is well known for his thorough medical acumen. Dr. Vines graduated from the University of Georgia and the Mercer University School of Medicine. He then completed his MD Psychiatric Residency Training Program at Maricopa Medical Center in Arizona. Dr. Vines works alongside the 24-hour RN staff and other suite of providers at Arizona IOP to provide the best evidence-based detox experience for every unique individual who enters the doors. When he is providing excellent client care, Dr. Vines can be found mountain biking and being active in the beautiful Arizona outdoors.

Alyssa is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner dedicated to supporting her patients’ mental health with compassion, empathy, and evidence-based care. She is passionate about helping individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered on their journey to wellness. A lifelong learner, Alyssa is committed to continually expanding her knowledge to provide the highest quality care. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, watching movies, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and finding peace in both the mountains and the beach.

Natalie has her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She has been in the mental health field for over 10 years and started her counseling career working in inpatient treatment, specializing in trauma and addiction. She is trained in Post Induction Therapy (PIT) which focuses on releasing carried emotions, inner child healing, and becoming a more functional adult. She also utilizes therapeutic techniques such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based Approach, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Natalie also uses EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and is an EMDR certified therapist. Natalie believes that life is as kind as you allow it to be, that everyone is resilient and capable enough to live a life of empowerment and authenticity. Sometimes we must work through our trauma, uncomfortable emotions, and dysfunction to truly reach our innermost potential and strength

Sarah Ann holds a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, and has experience in public health, community mental health, private practice, and collaborative care. As a Rogerian (Person-Centered) therapist, she creates a supportive, empathetic space where clients struggling with addiction feel seen and understood. Deeply committed to healing and recovery, Sarah Ann tailors her approach to each individual’s unique needs, helping them navigate the challenges of addiction with compassion and insight. She is dedicated to empowering clients to find strength, resilience, and long-term recovery through self-discovery and self-compassion. Sarah Ann also works closely with clients to develop personalized strategies for maintaining sobriety and building a fulfilling, balanced life.

Maddie is a compassionate and dedicated licensed therapist at The Hope House, where she helps clients navigate the challenges of substance use disorder with empathy and evidence-based care. She is deeply passionate about guiding individuals toward lasting recovery, personal growth, and renewed self-worth. Through her supportive approach, Maddie empowers clients to rebuild their lives and discover hope in healing.

Derek is an addiction therapist with 12 years of experience working across a continuum of care, including detox, residential treatment, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and currently holds both the LAAC credential in Arizona and the CADC III credential in California to be an Addiction Therapist. He integrates gradual exposure therapy, narrative therapy, and holistic approaches to support healing, improve brain chemistry, and help clients create meaningful shifts in perspective and overall wellness.

Kimberly was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from Davenport University in 2011 with a dual degree in Applied Science with emphasis on Insurance Claims Management and Health Information Technology. Kim comes to Arizona IOP with over two decades of experience in behavioral health services, with 17 of those years in direct leadership and employee development. She has specialized in Program Development, Program Management, Clinical Quality Management, and Insurance Claims/Authorization Management. When Kim is not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys volunteering her time alongside of the many community-based organizations as part of the ending homelessness initiative “One Story at a Time”.

With understanding and enthusiasm for those in recovery, Allie is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the care they need through effective collaboration with insurance companies during the utilization review process. She is passionate about advocating for the time and resources required for positive patient outcomes. Outside of work, Allie enjoys reading, watching the Blackhawks play, and spending time with her family.

Jada has a passion for helping people struggling with addiction and a strong commitment to leading in behavioral health. Her dedication to improving the lives of others is evident in her work as she strives to provide the best care possible. Jada believes in empowering & mentoring other professionals to ensure they have the skills & knowledge necessary to provide effective treatment.

Cameron began his career in addiction treatment in 2019. His training in Sociology has helped in his commitment to helping people overcome addictions, depression, anxiety, & other stressors. Cameron believes that healing is a collaborative endeavor without judgment. Cameron uses a personalized approach by treating individuals with empathy, respect, & understanding to create a tailored plan of care.

Lisa has spent her entire working career in Human Services and Substance Abuse. Her passion is helping others.  In her free time she loves being outdoors with her children, trying new foods, and relaxing with a funny movie.

Quinn spearheads daily operations & the overall direction for Arizona IOP. He emphasizes an unwavering commitment to providing the highest-level quality of care with an understanding that providing clients with the most opportunity for success is the single most important facet of Outpatient Rehab’s mission. Quinn stresses continuing education for Arizona IOP staff to ensure all clients receive expert medical care with comfortable amenities. Quinn was a founding member of Arizona IOP, a renowned residential rehabilitation facility in Arizona.

Seth is the President of Outpatient Services for Cafe Recovery – Arizona IOP. Seth has more than a decade of experience in Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health. Seth’s passion for community impact drives him to provide care for all clients. When not spending time with his wife & four children, he actively engages at church & supports the Ohio State football team. Seth’s unwavering commitment to helping families makes him an invaluable asset to Cafe Recovery and the recovery community.

With more than a decade of industry experience in the recovery field, Megan is a heartfelt professional known for her skill and dedication in leading our Admissions team and processes.

Since getting sober and having navigated her own struggles in addiction and journey of sobriety, Megan’s involvement in the substance abuse field has been characterized by her commitment and genuine passion for making a positive and lasting impact in the community and lives of those she touches.

Megan loves her work, her dog ‘DAWG’, traveling and spending time with her family.
